Envision Energy, founded in 2007, is a global green technology company headquartered in Shanghai, China. Its core businesses cover smart wind turbines, utility-scale battery energy storage, green hydrogen and integrated renewable energy systems. The company combines equipment manufacturing, system engineering and AI-enabled software to serve utilities, independent power producers, project developers, industrial customers, governments and public-sector institutions. Wind power is Envision’s longest-established business. It develops and manufactures onshore and offshore smart turbines and provides digital wind farm management, project engineering, operation and lifecycle services. Envision reports more than 100 GW of installed wind capacity worldwide, over 20 GW of global installations in 2025 and the world’s highest wind turbine order volume for four consecutive years. Its wind platforms combine in-house component development, testing and validation with data-driven control and predictive maintenance. In energy storage, Envision provides a vertically integrated utility-scale BESS portfolio extending from battery cells and battery management systems to DC storage systems, power conversion systems, medium-voltage equipment, software integration and AI-enabled controls. The company also supports project delivery, installation and long-term operation and maintenance. Its portfolio includes high-capacity liquid-cooled systems and the Gen 8 AI energy storage platform for renewable integration, grid support, long-duration storage and industrial energy applications. Envision reports more than 400 BESS projects in operation and over 100 GWh of BESS cell shipments. It is also listed by BloombergNEF as a Tier 1 global energy storage manufacturer. This designation refers to BloombergNEF’s manufacturer classification and should not be presented as a bankability rating or corporate credit rating. Beyond equipment supply, Envision develops integrated energy systems that coordinate wind, solar, storage, hydrogen and industrial loads. Its green hydrogen business combines renewable power systems with hydrogen production equipment, while its net-zero industrial park model integrates clean generation, energy storage, digital energy management and low-carbon manufacturing. These solutions are supported by Envision’s AIoT architecture, weather forecasting technologies and energy foundation models. Envision operates a global network of research, engineering, manufacturing and service capabilities, with technology and engineering centres across China, Denmark, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the United States and other markets. This network supports product development, local engineering, project delivery and customer service worldwide. The company states that it achieved carbon neutrality across its global operations in 2022 and is targeting carbon neutrality throughout its value chain by 2028.
