Neuilly-en-Thelle BESS

Project Overview

The Neuilly-en-Thelle BESS project is a large-scale battery storage project developed by Kallista Energy and Envision Energy, following their previous collaboration on the Saleux BESS project in France. The project will use Envision AESC LFP battery cells and leverage Envision’s 10GWh battery gigafactory in Hauts-de-France, combining local battery manufacturing with advanced BESS system integration. Once operational, the project will provide grid flexibility services through RTE reserve markets, supporting frequency regulation, grid stability, and renewable energy integration. With a capacity equivalent to the daily electricity consumption of around 30,000 households, the project will become an important asset supporting France’s energy transition.
