Project Overview

The Teiuș Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project is a co-located solar-plus-storage facility located in Teiuș, Alba County, Romania. Developed by Teiuș Solar S.R.L., an affiliate of Eurowind Energy Romania, the project features a minimum storage capacity of 116.96 MWh (over 120 MWh in the final delivery configuration) integrated with the existing 60.2 MW Teiuș Solar Park. The BESS entered the installation and integration phase in March 2026 and was energized in June 2026 under a full EPC contract delivered by Visual Fan S.A., supporting grid flexibility and renewable energy integration in Romania.
