The Alteo Győr Battery Energy Storage Facility is a 20 MWh grid-scale battery energy storage project located in Győr, Győr-Moson-Sopron County, Hungary. Developed by Alteo-Therm Kft. and owned by Alteo Group, the facility was commissioned in April 2026 and co-located with Alteo’s existing gas engine power generation assets, enabling more efficient use of grid connection capacity while supporting electricity balancing services and renewable energy integration.
