The Chint Power Kagoshima Energy Storage Power Station Project is a 3.6 MW / 10 MWh standalone grid-scale battery energy storage system located in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. Developed and delivered by Chint Power Systems, the project was successfully connected to the grid in May 2026 and participates in Japan’s JEPX electricity market and primary frequency regulation market, providing grid stabilization services through advanced grid-forming energy storage technology.
