Project Overview
The Enery Nova Zagora BESS Project is a 150 MW / 600 MWh standalone battery energy storage system located in Nova Zagora, Bulgaria. Developed and owned by Enery, the project was commissioned in 2026 with Sungrow’s PowerTitan 2.0 liquid-cooled ESS technology and integrated by Sunotec. Supported by Bulgaria’s national RESTORE program, the four-hour BESS project is one of the largest utility-scale battery storage facilities in Bulgaria, providing grid flexibility and renewable energy integration support.
