Resort de Brabantse Kempen BESS

Project Overview
A 216 kW battery storage system consisting of two 108 kW units was deployed at Resort de Brabantse Kempen to support planned site expansion without increasing its existing 51 kW contracted grid capacity. Load analysis showed that the projected peaks were predictable and concentrated in specific time periods. The batteries are therefore controlled for peak shaving, charging when grid capacity is available and discharging as site demand approaches the contracted limit. EKB Nederland supported the energy analysis, while Stym supplied the batteries and intelligent control system for TopParken.
