Project Overview

Tramway Road BESS is a proposed 300 MW / 1,200 MWh utility-scale battery energy storage project developed by Eku Energy in Victoria’s Latrobe Valley, Australia. Located adjacent to Hazelwood Terminal Station, the four-hour BESS is designed to support renewable energy integration, improve grid flexibility and contribute to the region’s transition from traditional energy generation toward a cleaner energy system.
