Project Overview

A multi-technology clean energy project in Kanawha County, West Virginia, owned and operated by MN8 Energy. The project combines 86 MW of utility-scale solar, 70 MW / 280 MWh of lithium-ion battery storage, and 10 MW / 100 MWh of Eos Z3™ zinc-based long-duration energy storage. The zinc system provides 10 hours of storage. The integrated portfolio is designed to deliver clean, dispatchable capacity to the PJM grid and support Google’s growing data center load in the region. Google will purchase the project’s energy, capacity, and clean energy attributes.
