Turośń Kościelna BESS

Project Overview

Greenvolt Power has inaugurated the Turośń Kościelna BESS in northeastern Poland. The standalone lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery system has a capacity of 200MW/800MWh and is directly connected to Poland's national transmission grid at 110 kV. The project will provide grid balancing and flexibility services and support the integration of renewable energy. From 2028, it will participate in Poland's capacity market under a 17-year contract with a 170MW capacity obligation.
