Project Overview

Harmony Energy has successfully energised the Skeeby Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) near Richmond, North Yorkshire. The 35MW/70MWh project uses Tesla Megapack technology and will store renewable energy from sources such as wind and solar, releasing power during periods of high demand to support grid flexibility, energy security, and the UK’s transition to a lower-carbon electricity system.
